First Step in Troubleshooting Print E-mail

If your computer, printer, or Internet connection suddenly stops working, the first thing to do is to check the connections. I can't tell you how many times I have been called to troubleshoot a computer problem only to find that the cat or dog pulled the plug out of the wall or someone moved the equipment just enough to loosen the connection.

Be sure to check the connections at the device as well as at the wall. If all the connections seem secure, turn everything off and then turn it back on again to see if the problem persists.
This may or may not solve your problem, but it should always be the first step in troubleshooting a piece of equipment that suddenly stops working.
