| Zip | To zip a file means to compress it to make it smaller and
easier to work with and to send over the Internet. Once the file is compressed
it is referred to as a zip file. In order for the file to be useable again, it
must be unzipped. A program like WinZip or Stuffit is used to zip and unzip files. |

| Zip Disks | A removable disk that holds more information than a floppy. A 100MG zip disk holds about 70 times the amount of information on a high-density 3+" floppy disk. The Zip disk and Zip drive are
now completely outdated and rarely used.

| Zip Drive | A device for storing information on a type of floppy disk which is much higher density than a floppy. The Zip disk and Zip drive are

| Zombie | A personal computer that has been infected with a
virus that allows an outside force to control it is called a zombie. Such a
computer can be used to send out spam or attack other computers without the owner’s
knowledge. Millions of computers today are zombie computers. They are part of a
zombie network of computers that are controlled by hackers.
