Auto Focus

Many of today’s cameras have an auto Focus feature that is activated by pressing the shutter release halfway down. When this is done, the camera focuses on a selected part of the picture subject and automatically calculates and sets the proper focus. The auto focus lag time is the time it takes to perform the function. If the lag time is too long, an action shot may be missed.
