Podcasting is a new method of distributing audio programming. A podcast is special broadcast content that is distributed over the Internet. Podcasting is a combo-word taken from “iPod” and “broadcast”.
Rich Rushforth and I have created many Compu-KISS podcasts with interesting information that everyone can understand. To listen to one of our podcasts on your computer simply, simply click on the "Click here to listen" link. You can check out the Compu-KISS podcast at http://www.compukiss.com/sandys-podcasts/index.php. If you want to subscribe to the Compu-KISS podcast, you can do so throught iTunes. It's totally free. You simply dick over to the Apple website and download and install iTunes. Then click on this link and you will be taken to the "Tech for Boomers" podcast in the iTunes store. To subscribe to the Compu-KISS podcast, just click on subscribe and iTunes will automatically download each new episode. Once you subscribe to the podcast, you can open iTunes and listen to it on your computer or synchronize your iPod and listen to it on the iPod. You can also find lots of other podcasts to subsctibe to at the iTunes store.
