Windows Live Toolbar Review

Posted by Sandy Berger on June 23rd, 2008

I’ve been hooked on the Google toolbar for a long time. I love the way it makes it easy to access many different tools. Well now I’ve found a new toolbar that also has some new technology and some useful features. What’s new with Windows Live Toolbar 3.0? It now supports custom buttons and Smart Menus to help you get to information faster. You simply choose the links and web feeds that you would like to go become your custom buttons. For Smart Menus, you highlight the text on a Web page that you want to learn more about.

Check out the Search Suggestions and the way you can get a definition, stock information, a map, and more with a single click from any web page. See my full review in the Free Stuff section of the Compu-KISS website.

It has one drawback, it only works with Internet Explorer 6.0 or better and Windows XP and/or Vista.
