Las Vegas is buzzing with techies at the annual Consumer Electronic Show. Some of my journalist friends are now staying home. They say that since everything is now online, they can cover the whole thing without ever leaving their living room. I, however, love the hustle and bustle of the show. I also like meeting people and getting their opinions. It is also great to put a face to the people who I deal with all year by email.

I am glad that I was here. I could not have gotten the full impact of the fabulous OLED TV that Sony has on display or have heard the quality that some companies have finally achieved with wireless speakers, had I not been here in person.
