The audio software that we will use is pretty much already chosen. Rich, my podcast partner, is an expert on Fast Edit and also has experience with Adobe Audition. I have limited capabilities with both pieces of software and fortunately, we already own both so there will be no addition expense. We plan on using Fast Edit to do all the basic editing. Then to take the podcast into Audition to do remove any background noises and hard limiting to level the audio. I know we could do it all in Audition, but I’ll have to bone up on that software before I attempt using it for everything.

Now we have to find a mixer and figure out the best way to do telephone interviews.
