Smart Emerson Clocks
Posted by Sandy Berger on March 11th, 2007
When I got up this morning, my Emerson smart alarm clocks, which set themselves automatically, weren’t smart enough to know that Daylight Saving Time started today, three week earlier than usual.
However, they were smart enough to have a button to set the time zone. I simply pressed the button to change the time zone and voila, the right time is now displayed. I’ll have to do the same thing in November when we go back to standard time, but luckily the fix was a very easy one.

You also had to change it April 1st, now it should auto adjust until November

Shelli,
How right you are! When I woke up on April 1st my automatic clocks were one hour ahead and I had to readjust them. Not quite an April’s fool joke….but close.

There should be a fix for this, maybe a computer chip replacment or something,
or would that be as expensive as a new radio?? missed appointments could be a disaster..
