Datexx Executive Mouse Pad Print E-mail
gadgets/exmousepad.jpgIf you love the look and feel of leather, you’ll like the Datexx Executive Mouse Pad. The round pad and silicone gel wrist rest are made of genuine black leather surrounded by a matte silver bezel. At the top of the pad is an LCD screen that shows the date, time, and temperature.

The Executive Mouse Pad also has a surprise. You can slide the wrist pad down to reveal a calculator. I fell in love with hidden compartments, during my pre-teen years, when I spent much time reading Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys mysteries. Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed this feature. Not only is it attractively designed, it is also a real space saver.

The full-featured calculator is easy to use. It has memory plus one-touch buttons for Cost, Sell, Profit%, etc. One of its many features is a world clock with “My City” plus 16 different cities around the world. Since one of my daughters lives in Europe, I find this feature very useful. There are also three programmable alarms. Temperature display can be set to Celsius or Fahrenheit. And you can choose between military or civilian time modes.

The Executive Mouse Pad is well designed. The wrist pad is comfortable and ergonomically placed. The bottom even has a special area that the mouse cord can snap into place thus keeping it out of the way. At 8.5" x 11.5" x 1.25" the Executive Mouse Pad is large enough for any hand, yet small enough to fit comfortably on any desk. It uses 2 AAA batteries. The Datexx Executive Mouse Pad provides comfortable elegance. At $60, it isn’t cheap, but it is a great gift idea for anyone from executive to home computer user.
