You can save a considerable amount of money by printing pages in draft mode. Draft mode reduces the amount of ink and/or toner that is put down on the paper which saves money on ink and/or toner. Each printer is different. For most, draft mode is quite readable and perfect for everyday documents.
If you have your printer manual, you can find out how to access the draft mode in the manual. If you do not have a manual, click on Print from the menu and click on the Properties button next to the printer of your choice. Look through the tabs until you see the place where you can turn on the draft mode printing. Every manufacturer seems to call this something different. Look for something that says Draft Printing or has a Print Quality setting named “Draft”. You may also see this called Toner Save Mode or be able to choose it by choosing to print in a lower resolution.
