Save Those Precious Photos Print E-mail

memorycards.jpgThe memory card that is used in a digital camera is good for temporary storage of photos.  Memory cards, however, like many other types of digital storage, can occasionally become corrupt or unusable. Although this doesn't happen often, it is always best to move or copy your pictures to a place where they will be backed up and kept safe.

You can move or copy them to the hard drive on your computer and copy them to CDs. You can also purchase an external hard drive and use it as dedicates photo storage. Or you can do both. Remember, it is best to have several copies of all your precious photos.
