What mouse can resist free stuff, bargains, deals, etc.?

Online coupons, free stuff, discount shopping deals, freebies, bargains, deals….

they all tempt your mouse to make a little click. And more and more Internet users are doing just that. Cyber Dialogue has discovered in the past three months alone about 20% of US Internet users have downloaded online coupons. More than half of those Internet users have actually made it to the checkout counter with coupon in hand and redeemed those online money-saving vouchers.

Ironically, consumers are more prone to shutting down their computers, getting in their cars, and visiting a brick and mortar store to cash in that coupon. They are twice as likely to redeem coupons they downloaded from the Internet at an offline store rather than an online store. Cyber Dialogue's statistics showed 48% of consumers who downloaded coupons visited an offline store as opposed to the 24% who stayed at their computer and shopped online. This trend is thought to reinforce the importance of the Internet in multichannel marketing strategies.

Electronic coupons are just a little harder to find than the abundance of paper coupons that accompany all the sales circulars in the Sunday newspaper. Yet, you really do not have to be too Web savvy to track down the Internet's version of the Sunday coupon supplements. Just go to your favorite search engine and type in "online coupons." You will find pages of linked sites eager to give you the latest coupon deals.

Online shopping brags about the convenience it offers buyers – eliminating crowded parking lots and inattentive sales clerks. Along with the convenience that accompanies online shopping, the Web now offers saving through online coupons. Shoppers appreciate the discounts that come with the online coupons. Retailers love the coupons because they generate an immediate and traceable return. Online coupons offer a great combination of value and variety. It is no wonder that Internet users are letting their little mouse give in to the temptation of online coupons, free stuff, discount shopping deals, freebies, bargains, and deals.
