After installing Service Pack 1 for Internet Explorer 6.0 you cannot open e-mail attachments in Outlook Express 6.0. The Service Pack changes some of the default security settings which may prevent you from opening attachments. To change the default back so you can view attachments again, open Outlook Express click on Tools – Options. Select the Security tab. Locate the Virus Protection area, and remove the checkmark in front of the words: Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus Click OK.
