Wouldn't it be nice if you could have someone tell you every time your name was mentioned in on the Internet? Or every time some topic of interest is written about? Or when someone writes about your favorite sports team? Well, all you have to do is set up an alert and Google will give you links to every story that mentions the name, event, or words that you choose. It's pretty cool - and it's free.

All web browsers do about the same thing, but they are not all created equal. The new version of the Opera web browser excels in two areas: It has a turbo boost to speed up those on slow Internet connections, and it has a wonderful zoom capability to increase the size of what's on the screen while making it easier to read. If you are on a dial-up connection or your eyes need a little help, this may be the browser for you....and it's free.
