Yesterday when I went to save a file, the computer asked if I wanted to replace the existing file with the same name. The minute I pressed "OK", I knew I was in trouble. I didn't mean to do that! I needed the file that I had just overwritten. The file I needed was gone from my hard drive, but my backup software saved me. Within 3 minutes I was able to retrieve the overwritten file. I use an online backup program named Carbonite for my backup. Rich Rushforth and I recently interviewed David Friend, president of Carbonite on a podcast.
