Panda Security has put out a "hot fix" to help solve this problem for users of their security program which you may want to try. See this link site for the info and the download/directions:
http://www.pandasecurity.com/homeusers/support/card?id=60037&idIdioma=2

I'm aware you use a 2010 version of Panda, and since the above fix thread refers to to 2009, I thought I would also add this fix thread from the Panda forum which has links for several different versions of Panda Security, including your 2010 version. Quite likely the patch fix is the same for all versions, but just want to be sure your comfortable with the solution:
http://support.pandasecurity.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=2882
The steps are well given to tell you how and what to do with their patch to fix the problem.

Also look at this thread from the Panda Security forums for an additional fix, if their "fixit" patch didn't work for you:

The msiInstaller error is from Microsoft showing a problem with the installation of some part of that security program....
