Maintenance Tools Mac

As a new convert to Mac from PC, can anyone give me any input as what maintenance tools, if any I should be utilizing in order that I can maintain my Imac in top efficient operation

I'm not a Mac user, but looking thru some Mac forums found what many new Mac users feel is a pretty good place to check out to learn about your Mac and its operation as contrasted to the PC: My First Mac
