Just an FYI, guys - McAfee Site Advisor lists this website in the "red zone" - meaning that some of the software there are known sources of adware/spyware.

I wouldn't recommend downloading anything from there without researching it very thoroughly first - and even then, someone could have repackaged legitimate software, adding malware. Far-fetched, perhaps, but it has and does happen.

Thanks for that info Bill........ I use the WOT (Web of Trust) extension with Fire Fox 3 and it rates the site as excellent........WOT rates for Trustworthiness, Vender Reliability, Privacy and Child Safety. And the ratings are from WOT users who use the vendors or sites and have valid info to report on it.

I'm just leery of McAfee after to many bad experiences with it in the past and with helping others with problems it has identified or misreported..... But I know a lot of folks are happy with them as well........

And being fully honest and in full disclosure, I don't care for Norton either, particularly since Symantec took them over and the abundance of problems and glut created by Norton.............

So, one should probably give consideration to my mental stability.... LOL... Grin
