If you hate paying the telephone company for directory assistance, you will love this new service.

Just use your telephone and there is no charge for the directory assistance or the call, even if it is long distance.

Read Sandy's Goog411 article at:

Hi, this is Paul from 1-800-Free411 (we do believe in full disclosure), and I just wanted to jump in here and let people know that we've been offering free 411 for quite a while now, and that there are some notable differences between our service and the Google service.  First, we offer business, residential, and government listings, while the Google number offers only business listings.  Secondly, we have live operator support in case our voice recognition system doesn't understand you (inevitably, this will happen sometimes with uncommon names), while the Google number has no such operator support.

Also, I'd like to specify that our ads are only about 12 seconds long, and are placed at the very beginning of each call.  Lastly, we have a new feature called category search, enabling our callers to search by category if they don't have a specific listing in mind (for details, see http://www.free411.com/about/pressreleases/p20070320).

Thanks for allowing us this space to respond to Sandy's article.

Best wishes,
Paul
