Wordpad is a less robust version of
MS Word or
MS Works and is included with all computers and Windows operating system... here is a pretty good tutorial on using it, which might answer any questions you have:
http://www.3dmultimedia.com/help/windows/wordpad_eng.htm. It has more features than
Notepad but less than
Word or
Works or
Word Perfect, etc.
'
Word wrap' is just an editing feature of text editing programs that tells the program to break the end of a sentence between two words and not to split a word apart just because it won't fit at the end of a sentence.... With '
word wrap' feature turned on you can also be typing your document and part way through decide that you want to change the margins; change them by sliding the margin pins at the top of the page and the
word wrap feature will automatically adjust for the new margin settings and break a sentence between 2 words and again won't split a word apart to end a sentence line.
**Edit** I probably should also have asked what operating system you are using, as WordPad in WinXP is slightly different than WordPad in Win7 operating system. But, even with the slight change in appearance and the method you might use to get to different editing features such as Word Wrap or margin setting, you likely will find that WordPad performs the same way in either operating system. Additionally, you can do a "Print Preview" before you print your document and see how the document will appear when printed. That allows you to do any alterations before you finalize and print your document.
