Huh It maybe an stupid question but I wondering if pictures pinting in a photo printer are better than photos printed in a regular printer. I am planning to print some calendars with flower pictures from my front yard, please guide me. Thanks a lot

Always a difficult question to answer and you will find a lot of differing opinions if you do a Google or Bing search of the Internet .... should one get a smaller picture printer (don't know if those would do calendar size photo printing) or should one get a good multi-function printer which will be very versatile and give you good regular printing and pretty good photo/calendar printing?

Here's one review site at C/net http://reviews.cnet.com/best-printers/ ... which gives some opinions.... I myself use a Canon Pixma Multi-function printer which gives me outstanding quality in prints of my digital photos... I pretty much stick with 4X6 prints and really have done very little of the larger size pictures, but I have been very satisfied with the printing. Made the mistake of trying cheaper ink supplier and quickly returned to Canon ink cartridges to get the color quality back to what it should have been....

Canon's and Epson's have been rated quite well for pictures.... really, it seems to be personal choices.... using good quality photo paper and good quality ink on a good printer which is designed for photo printing (inkjets) should make you quite happy for calendars....

Have fun with whatever printer you use.... really depends on how much money you feel you want to spend.... color laser printers are at the top of the price range and color inkjets are certainly more affordable and in the price range of the average home user.......

Smiley Big toe your answers had been helping me always, I also have a Pixma and been using it to print pictures that do not look bad at all, so I will keep it. Thanks so much.
