 Undecided
I am so confused now with all the news reports about the can and cannot eat foods like nuts, berries, seeds, tomatoes, potato skins, etc..  Now the researchers are saying that there is no evidence that the above mentioned foods are bad for us who have this disease.  I recently had a huge bout, then a catscan to tell me I had the big "D"-and should not eat those foods-which I feel so sad in not doing so because they are good for our health.  I especially miss strawberries, nuts, blueberries, and tomatoes. The juices have so much sugar in them.
I am frightened to have another battle with the past's symptoms. Can anyone give me more information-I am not getting much advice except off the internet. I know they want us to eat 25-30 grams of fiber a day.  Finding whole grain breads is sometimes difficult because of the nuts and little pieces throughout the loaf as it sometimes is with other foods too.   I'd like to hear others' experiences or advice they were given.
Thanks.
