It's amazingly good. Oh, and if you handwriting resembles the scribble on a doctor's prescription pad, you can still create your own font, just get someone with good handwriting to help you.
Fontcapture.com is a free online service that lets you can create a font from your own handwriting. There's no software to download or install. All you need is a printer and a scanner. You just print the font template that they provide and fill it in. Then you scan it into your computer and upload it to the fontcapture website. The site creates the font for you and when it is completed, you simply download it to your computer. Here's the process in a nutshell:
• Download template • Print template • Fill in the template • Scan template & upload • Preview and download your font • Install the font on your computer
There are complete instruction on the website, including information on where to put the font so that you can use it in Word and other programs. The fonts you create using fontcapture.com can be used on both Windows and Mac computers.
