Launchy Lets You Start Programs Easily

If you have a lot of programs on your computer, it can become difficult to find just the one you want. With this free program you don't have to have your desktop cluttered with program shortcut icons, and you don't have to search through the All Programs menu to find the program you want. It's a great idea!

Launchy is a small, simple program that hides in the background and indexes Start Menu programs. After you download and install Launchy, you simply press alt+space to launch or close the program. When you press these keys, launchy will pop a small box up on your screen. Just type the first few letters of the program you're looking for and launchy will give you a small drop-down list of all the programs with those letters. Choose the one you want and the program will start.

This program is especially useful for Windows XP users. It works like the search box on Windows Vista and Windows 7 systems. You can also use it for Vista and Windows 7 computers, if you like.
