It's easy to download and install. The program works with Internet Explorer 6.0 and higher and Firefox 2.0 and higher in Windows. Once installed, you will see a small HP Smart Select Button on your browser toolbar. When you see a Web page or a section of a Web page that you want to print, you simply click on the Smart Select icon. Your cursor turns into a small cross. Just click the mouse and drag the cursor across what you want to select. When what you want is highlighted, you release the mouse button and a small pop-up menu will ask if you want to Clip, Copy, or Print the selection. If you choose Print, the portion of the page that you highlighted is printed. If you choose Clip , the your highlighted text or images will appear in the browser's sidebar. You can collect several items and print them when you are ready.

The program is easy to use. There is a small demo that will help you, but you can probably figure it out by yourself just by playing around with the program a little. After you have clipped a few objects, feel free to resize any or all of them by dragging the "hot grip" in one of the corners of the selection. You can change the order of the images by dragging and dropping them. You can delete an item by clicking on the red X.

You will be taken to a page setup area where you can further customize your print document. You can even save it as a PDF.
