FaxZero is an online fax service that allows you to send two free faxes per day. You simply go to the FaxZero website and fill in your name, your email address and the recipient's name and fax number. Then you browse for the file that you want to send. The company will then send you an email confirming that you want to send the fax. When you click the link to confirm, your fax is sent and you get an email confirming that the fax has been sent.

FaxZero only allows you to send Word documents or PDF files. If you want to send some other document you can use the free PDF creator to turn it into a fax before you send the fax. Unless you want to send a Word document or something in your computer, you may need a scanner to scan in the document.

FaxZero will put a small ad on the cover page. If you don't want the ad to appear you can use Paypal to pay them $1.99 for each fax. They also have pay services if you want to send and receive faxes on a regular basis.

In my informal testing 90% of the faxes were received without a problem. However, if you use FaxZero for an important document, you may want to follow up with a telephone call to the recipient to make sure that it was received.
