Shortcut for Entering Information Print E-mail
When you are making a selection or an entry on the computer, you need to tell the computer that you have completed your entry. Often this is done by clicking on a button that says “Go” or “Enter”. For instance when entering a search term into Google, are expected to type in your text, then click on “Google Search”. In most cases, you don’t really have to click on any small icon or choice on the screen. Simply type in your text and hit the Enter key. This will send your entry to the computer. Using the Enter button is usually much easier than using the mouse to click on something on the screen. This tip works for most text entries and many choices you make on the computer, including entering Web addresses. Just type in the address and press the Enter key.
