Certain groups of Americans
are more likely to have a stroke, which now ranks second as a cause of death
worldwide. Learn if you are at risk and what you can do to avoid having a
stroke.
While anyone can have a
stroke, the American Stroke Association says African Americans are twice as
likely to suffer one as White Americans and also are more likely to have high
blood pressure and diabetes. Yet with stroke as the second leading cause of
death worldwide, everyone needs to be aware of the dangers. Dr. Edgar Kenton
says “The American Stroke Association wants you to use your power to end
stroke. Find out if you are at risk and how to reduce your risk. Learn the
