 Conficker is a worm that has spread to millions of computers. It can put you at risk for identity theft and it can also turn your computer into a bot that will do the bidding of the Conficker creators to attack other computers, send out spam, and/or perform other vicious tasks. If you have a good antivirus program and you perform your Windows updates regularly, your computer is probably safe, but there is a quick way to find out whether or not you're infected.
