Who doesn’t like a bargain? We are quite used to using coupons to reduce the cost of items we buy. Recent surveys have shown that even people who earn more than $100,000 a year clip coupons. Most people don’t know, however, is that coupons are available for online shopping. Not only are they available, but they are easier to use than paper coupons. There is no clipping, sorting, or storing with online coupons. You simply enter a code when you check out at an online merchant. This code is usually a short combination of letters and numbers, like B5403 or 3A123. When you place your order and enter the code, the coupon savings are deducted from the total amount of your order.
The only trick is to find the coupons. That turns out to be an easy task if you know where to look. The best place to start is at a coupon aggregator website. One of my favorite coupon sites is DealCoupon where they list the newest and the most popular coupons in the center of the page. You can use the menus on the sides of the page to search by store or by category. You can even keep a list of favorite stores so you can easily check the coupon bargains that they are offering at any time.
Bargain Boardwalk is another site that aggregates coupon offers. This website lists the featured coupons alphabetically by store. Hot coupons are on the right side of the screen. You can also search by category. You will find coupons for everything from electronics to baby clothes.
Can using online coupons save money? You bet they can! Often the savings are much more dramatic than the fifty-cent coupons you clip out of the newspaper. As I write this Bargain Boardwalk has a $750 coupon for a Dell Inspiron laptop computer at Dell.com and $25 off a $75 order at OmahaSteaks.com. DealCoupon.com has a coupon for 50% off anything at Belkin.com (some exceptions), 30% off regularly priced items at JCPenney.com, and 10% off anything at Lowes.com. When you visit you may not find exactly the same offers, but you will find many useable coupons.
Once you get a taste of the savings listed at these websites you will probably be hooked. So here are a few more coupon sites for you to check out.

Each of these online coupon and bargain websites is organized differently and the deals may vary. So you may want to check them all out and make a list of favorites to visit before your make your online purchases.
Another way to get coupons is to sign up for newsletters from the online merchants that you really like. These newsletters tell you about the most current deals. They often include coupon codes that you can use at their online stores. Some online retailers that also have brick and mortar stores even email coupons that you can print and use at their physical stores.
The best thing about online coupons is that if you shop till you drop, you’re a lot closer to the sofa when you are done.
