Cars Without Keys Print
I don't know about you, but the keys on my key chain seem to constantly multiply. All of my necessary keys, along with large key fobs that came with both of our cars, create an unwieldy mass of metal and plastic.

As a lover of computers and technology, nothing gives me more pleasure than to say, "Technology to the rescue." There is a new technology in the pipeline that may end this key chain aggravation once and for all. Passive keyless entry, as it's called, is poised to give drivers more convenience -- and to give them a sense of security, as well.

With passive keyless entry, each driver is issued a small key card. The beauty of this card is it can remain in the driver's purse or pocket at all times. Simply walking up to the car when you have the key card in your possession will not only open the car, it will start the car when you are ready. With this new keyless system, only a person with a keycard will be granted access to the vehicle, creating a much more secure atmosphere. Keyless entry also offers built-in customization. If there is more than one driver, the specially coded cards will adjust each driver's settings, like seat position and favorite radio stations.

Get ready, because our cars of tomorrow will do more than take us from point A to point B. Their computer systems will operate the vehicles more efficiently and enhance the driving experience to make it both comfortable and convenient, all at the same time. They will also free us from carrying around that accumulation of keys.
