Technology is allowing us to personalize many things in our lives. But this one is a bit of a surprise. Who would have thought that you would be able to put a picture of yourself or a loved one on an M&M? Yes, those tasty little morsels of chocolate that you ate when you were a kid can now sport a picture of the new baby, the bride and groom, or anyone you like. You can also add messages. No word yet on whether or not the Mars company will censor the pictures they will allow on their candy...
Mars Snackfood has announced that America's favorite candy is getting a little more personal with the introduction of MY M&M's® Faces, which lets consumers print their faces on an M&M. This head-turning innovation was the spotlight new product revealed at the National Confectioners Association All Candy Expo. Beginning in June, consumers can simply upload a photo portrait to www.mymms.com and combine images with two to three custom messages creating a powerful and personal storytelling experience.
The world's leading confectioner, Mars Snackfood US, also debuted M&M's® Premiums - the brand's entry in redefining the premium chocolate category, a category that is growing faster than the entire chocolate category. Covered in thin, jewel-toned shells that resemble precious gemstones, the smooth, rich M&M's® Premiums come in five flavors - Chocolate Almond, Mint Chocolate, Mocha, Raspberry Almond and Triple Chocolate. They will be available nationwide starting this summer for $3.99 a box.
I don't know how those little teeny pictures will look on an M&M, but you could really suprise someone with this one!
